Demi: I wonder where everyone is. *Looks around* Where are my parents?
Nick: I don’t know.
Demi: *Goes down the hall and into the kitchen* Dallas?!
Dallas/Kevin: *Kissing*
Dallas: *Pulls away* Demi, you’re home.
Kevin: Welcome back.
Demi: *Pulls Dallas into the living room* What?! How? When?
Dallas: Kevin and I are dating.
Demi: Yeah, I didn’t notice. *Being sarcastic*
Dallas: It happened when you left.
Demi: And you couldn’t tell me when you called?
Dallas: I wanted to say it in person.
Demi: Okay.
Dallas: *Smiles* So? You’re okay with it.
Demi: *Smiles* Yes! Kevin is like a big brother to me. He’s awesome.
Dallas: Great.
Demi: *Looks around* By the way, where are mom and dad?
Dallas: They went to Europe.
Demi: What?!
Dallas: Think about it. We have the house all to ourselves.
Demi: *Smiles* Yeah… this could work.
A Week Later
LOVATO HOUSE — Demi and Dallas
Dallas: You have everything?
Demi: Yes! Don’t worry.
Dallas: I wish I could go with you.
Demi: I’ll only be gone for a week.
Dallas: Try not to blow your secret. I really can’t handle paparazzi alone.
Demi: *Smiles* Yeah, it’s all about you. *Joking*
Dallas: I’m just saying.
Demi: Trust me. I won’t blow my secret.
Dallas: *Hugs Demi* Okay, see you in a week.
Demi: Yes. I’ll call you when we get there.
CAB — Nick, Joe, Kevin and Demi
Demi: So… are you guys excited?
Joe: Yeah… Why are you so pumped and hyper?
Demi: It’s my first DC Games.
Kevin: Ours too.
Demi: Why aren’t you more excited?
Joe: Who said we’re not excited?
Demi: Let’s make a bet.
Joe: Okay. What we’re you thinking?
Demi: I bet you that we’ll be on four different teams.
Joe: I’m in.
Kevin: Me too.
Demi: *Looks at Nick* What about you, Nick?
Nick: Yeah, I’m on your side.
Joe: So, what are we betting for?
Demi: *Takes a few seconds to think* Who ever looses has to… dress up like a chicken and sign autographs.
Kevin: You are so on.
Demi: Good. Nick and I are so not loosing. You better call the costume shop and request a chicken costume.
Joe: Don’t be so sure.
DC GAMES BUS — Demi and Alyson
Demi: *Sits next to Aly* Hey.
Alyson: Hi.
Demi: I wanted to talk about something.
Alyson: Okay.
Demi: I know about the pictures.
Alyson: *Looks upset* I’m sorry. I really regret it. It’s just that I really liked Joe and you were using him.
Demi: It’s okay. You don’t have to explain.
Alyson: What? You’re not upset.
Demi: No. The truth is… I used Joe, but then I kind of developed feelings for him.
Alyson: *Looks at Demi* Really?
Demi: Yes. *Pauses* Can you keep a secret?
Alyson: Yes.
Demi: *Whispers* I’m dating Nick and I can’t tell if I’m dating him because I love him or because I’m trying to get back at Joe.
Alyson: What?!
*Everyone on the bus turns to look at Demi and Alyson*
